Rastra Samara Huliselan, S.H.
Rastra Samara Huliselan is an Associate Lawyer at the Law Offices of Dr. Michael Hans & Associates (“MHANSLaw”). He graduated with a Law degree specializing in labor and employment law, criminal law, and business legal compliance from the University of Bhayangkara (Ubhara Jaya), Surabaya. Rastra has also earned his qualifications as a Certified Contract Drafter and a Licensed Advocate. Besides his education, Rastra is heavily involved in business and law organizations. He is an active member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and Network 21, and has been chosen to lead the Pusat Kajian & Advokasi Tanah (PUKAT) Institute.
Before becoming an associate at MHANSLaw, Rastra excelled as an experienced manager and worked as a legal officer at one of the biggest multinational companies. As an Associate Lawyer at MHANSLaw, Rastra is responsible for including but not limited to conducting legal research, preparing, and attending hearings; drafting legal documents such as reports, contracts, pleadings, appeals, and settlement agreements for contract negotiation and proceedings; advising clients on solutions and negotiate on behalf of clients; organize documents and client files to ensure data confidentiality.
Jeovanni Jonson, S.M.
Jeovanni Jonson is an Intellectual Property Specialist at the Law Offices of Dr. Michael Hans & Associates (“MHANSLaw”). She earned her Business Management (S.M.) degree from the International Business Management program at Petra Christian University (PCU), Surabaya. Awarded for her academic and organizational achievements, Jeovanni earned an “IBM Excellence” award bestowed from her program. She also briefly studied Business Administration and Management overseas at Soongsil University, South Korea.
Jeovanni began her career as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at one of the leading industrial and medical gas provider companies, where her supervisor highly praised her communication, analytical, and data comprehension skills. She continued her career at MHANSLaw as a Business Development Intern before being promoted to a full-time Intellectual Property Specialist. As an Intellectual Property Specialist, her responsibility include but are not limited to the protection and enforcement of trademarks, producing reports of business unit trademark portfolios; developing knowledge of IP; reviewing trademarks and classifying them; conducting online and offline trademark searches, and providing input on trademark filings; client scouting and acquisition; organizing evidence and related intellectual property files for clients.
Erfin Setiawan, S.H., M.HKI
Erfin Setiawan is an Associate Lawyer and Registered IP Consultant at the Law Offices of Dr. Michael Hans & Associates (“MHANSLaw”). He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Law, specializing in intellectual property and business legal compliance, from the University of Surabaya (UBAYA), Surabaya. He continued his studies further, earning a master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Notarial Law at the University of Airlangga (UNAIR), Surabaya.
Erfin worked as an Associate Lawyer and Registered IP Consultant at MHANSLaw and as a Registered IP Consultant at Payung Paten for more than ten years. At MHANSLaw, his main responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and handling Trademark and Patent prosecution and/or infringement cases; assisting partners in the preparation of clients meetings; examining materials and legal publications for law revisions, case studies, reports, codes, statutes; meeting with clients and advising legal solutions; completing IP registrations and post-application proceedings; helping to protect and prevent clients’ IP infringement.
Cynthia Prastika Limantara
Cynthia Prastika Limantara is a Paralegal at the Law Offices of Dr. Michael Hans & Associates (“MHANSLaw”). She is currently in her last semester majoring in Business Law at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), set to graduate in 2022. Cynthia was extremely active in student organizations, specifically in the Academic and Public Relations Department, going as far as to be entrusted as an Assistant Editor for Law Review UPH Journal, a Professor’s Assistant during her university years.
Before becoming an associate of MHANSLaw, Cynthia had worked as a Legal Intern at the Notary Office of Sonya Natalia, S.H., and PT. Maesa Cipta Corporindo (“Maesa Group”). As a Paralegal at MHANSLaw, her primary responsibilities include but are not limited to organizing and maintaining paper and electronic documents in an orderly filing system; meeting with clients, attorneys, the court, and other professionals to talk about case details; conducting legal research and help prepare for trials, hearings, and further legal proceedings; investigating facts and laws of cases or other public records and resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action; researching and analyzing states, codes, legal articles, documents, and other data; and drafting legal documents.
Josephine Permata, S.Kom.
Josephine Permata is a Multimedia Specialist at the Law Offices of Dr. Michael Hans & Associates (“MHANSLaw”). She obtained her Computer Science (S.Kom) degree from the Informatics Program at the University Of Surabaya (Ubaya), Surabaya. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering at Ubaya. Besides her education, Josephine was very active in student organizations and held a position as a professor’s assistant.
Before becoming an associate of MHASNLaw, Josephine worked as a Student Employee specializing in multimedia creation at the Ubaya Center For Human Rights Studies. Her career path in creative work continuously develops as she does freelance work as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer at KPS2K and KAPAL Perempuan Institute, a women empowerment organization. When her graduation came close, she quickly joined as a Multimedia Specialist at MHANSLaw. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to producing finished creative work using advanced multimedia software/tools; developing and designing sites using software programming and scripting languages, including for the development of new functionality, style, layout, and accessibility; working with drawings, rough ideas, or written instruction to develop a product; creating scripts and guides for multimedia content for a variety of media platforms.
