A crucial question in contract law concerns the legal capacity of individuals with hearing and literacy disabilities to enter into binding agreements. According to Indonesian Disability Law, persons with disabilities are individuals who experience physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations that may face barriers in full participation with other citizens based on equal rights. Meanwhile, valid contracts must meet four essential requirements under Article 1320 of the Civil Code, including the capacity to make agreements.
